imagine if instead of having loyalty to a particular company you had a loyalty to a particular cause, like get everyone convenient healthcare, or easy access to books, or get everyone access to quality food or get everyone to space then we would figure out as best we could how to optimally allocate people to various teams (e.g. companies) within this framework
